Looks cool, but isnt that just sucking warm air from inside the engine compartment?

I dunno it runs a lot better than the pvc pipe that was on there.

i got my MAF adapter and filter from pep boys.. i was skeptical about buying the pipes though, comes out well from what i saw in that pic up there

Actually becuase of where it sits the fan hel-ps with cooler air. If you don't want to go through the hassle like I did and put it in the bum-per you can actually use half of the stock air box as a heatshield. Its not an amazing heatshield but it works for the most part from what I understand.

i used heat sheilds that pple use to cover thier windows
used two layers of it with plastic in between
and no connection between the two layers

seems to be keeping the hot air out of the intake area
and the tube leading down, i also got a vent for it now
