ahh another big issue
 

i just popped my hood to throw an air filter in my car, and as i goto take my accordian hose off and realize my first spark plug wire is ejected. so i pull it out COVERED IN OIL, all 6 plug wires are coverd in oil and the spark plug tubes are all full of oil., what is causing this? spark plug tube seals? valve cover gasket?

check screws holding down valve covers they are common of coming loose because you can not get torque setting replace with bolts

Or it could be a bad valve cover gasket(s). They do have replacment bolts with an allen head instead of aluminum ones that strip easily. I dont remember where I saw them tho.

I have the same problem...I also read about using silicone to seal the gaskets, also?

I had the same problem when I purchased my supra. I replaced valve cover gaskets, valve cover grommets, and torqued them to spec but I still had the mysterious oil in plug valley problem. In my case it turned out to be the No. 3 cylinder head cover gasket. Its that "cover" between the valve covers that is held on by 14mm allen head bolts. I ripped that pos off and bought custom oil drain plug gaskets, (from some sort of diesel engine) and it solved the problem.
