help with brake problem

i cant seem to get my brake lights to go out they are on all the time now :(
anybody know where the switch or what ever it is that switches the brake lights on when the brake peddle is pressed.

It's at the top of the brake pedal. It may not be a bad switch, but it could be the little round rubber piece that is on the pedal to push the button in on the switch. Thats what happened to mine. I ended up buying a new switch and it turned out to be the little round rubber piece that i sucked up with the vacuum a few days earlier.

most likely what happened here switch is still good and no rubber piece on the peddle but i just adjusted it closer to the peddle and it works again. :)
