i made a hole in pipe and bolted sensor to pipe using lock tite to hold nut in place it works fine and it is spot on reading you need to drill carefully when making hole but from tha its works fine

frostburn 10-13-2006 06:01 PM

i have to drill a hole in something in order to use an aftermarket BOV? .... that what ur tellin me? lol ( sry )

nelly26 10-13-2006 06:03 PM

no these is for boost gauge

frostburn 10-13-2006 06:05 PM

ummm uh oh... no one said anything about drilling shit... im not exactly a handly man... i pay everyone to do my shit lol... where is this pipe located and do i absolutly have to drill a hole?

nelly26 10-13-2006 06:05 PM

if u want a cheap bov use bailys dumb valve cheap they sound ok i have replaced mine with hks bov much better but cost lot of bucks

nelly26 10-13-2006 06:06 PM

frostburn 10-13-2006 06:18 PM

how much will that run me? ... and also u know anywhere to get a HKS super suquential at a decent price? ... ( sorry bout spelling its prob wrong )

nelly26 10-13-2006 06:20 PM

i paid 100 pounds in uk for bailys dump valve but hks in uk is 250 pounds so price might vary where u are

nelly26 10-13-2006 06:22 PM

dont worry about spelling mine is crap too lol

nelly26 10-13-2006 06:23 PM

its a shame u are not in uk i would sold to u for cheap

frostburn 10-13-2006 06:41 PM

lol ... alright... umm im getting told i dont have to drill any holes... and all i do is "cut a boost line put the vaccum hose in run it through the fire wall then find a 12v and ground power source hook it into their and your done" ... is that not right? im so confused

nelly26 10-13-2006 06:49 PM

it could be right but i do things differently and also there is so many pipes i justed getb lost some where let me know vacum u can use so if it easier it makes life easier

does your boost gauge have a sender unit like this

frostburn 10-13-2006 07:08 PM

yes, it does is that a good thing? lol

frostburn 10-13-2006 07:18 PM

can u tell me where i can find a vacuum line? lmfao... woah im pathedic

nelly26 10-13-2006 07:19 PM

maybe i have a rage boost gauge and for it to work it uses the pressure from turbo so it needs to be put on the intake system like that pipe i showed u for it to work the stock gauge that is built into car uses the vacum system but when tried to use same vacum system i did not work u need to instructions that shows explain how it works

my spelliny is crap

frostburn 10-13-2006 08:35 PM

man.... where is a vacuum line? thats all i need at this point lol ive looked all over the net but its all dry for info/pics
