Oily Sparkys!
yea, im pretty sure i have a blown head. i just wanted to make sure. well i dont have milky oil, but i do have really dirty coolant, and white smoke comming out of my exhuast (it doesnt constantly release white smoke, but it kicks in from time to time) i just check my spark plugs recently. yes they are full of oil and junk. i am also burning oil, how do i know this? after races, i smell it, and i loose about a quart of oil a month. im just wondering, and making sure if this is a blown head gasket. if it is, then this is goign to be a hell of a weekend.

While you have your head off I would go ahead and replace your valve seats!!!!
|
just to be safe check the valve cover seals. i blew those racing on my n/a a few years ago. i had oil in my spark plugs but mine ended up only running on 3 cylnders because of it. so i would just check those before the head gasket and hope for the best.

Never do 'just' a headgasket. Take the head to a machine shop and have a valve job, pressure test, and milling done.
Check the block surface REALLY carefully. |
did u happen to do a swap?
|
no worries
im doing a jdm 7m-gte and 6 speed swap this winter, so ill deal with this for a while. it doesnt really matter because it runs just fine a times, and rough. im hoping for the best, the whole front clip of the supra will be about 2400. my uncle will help me swap it in and everything. i recently had my rims changed to the mk4 rims and a duraflex lip, looks very slick. ill post pix
