20 here, had my girl for about 9 months now. This car is lucky I love it, because I could be rich if I didn't have it! lol

Things I've done to it so far after market wise:
- Tokico adjustable gas shocks (all 4, $450)
- new toyo tires (all 4, $900 installed/balanced/aligned)
- racing brake pads (all 4, $500)
- new calipers (all 4, $500)
- new drilled+slotted racing rotors (all 4, $600)
- Apexi turbo timer ($100)

Things I've had to replace on the car:
- brake light sensor ($350)
- rear passenger marker light
- hood struts
- headlights (if that counts lol)

Things about to go wrong/need replacing soon :'(
- transmission requires a complete rebuild. That or a brand new one which is the same price. ($2800 installed)
- steering rack&pinion ($850 installed)
- exhaust leak getting worse down near the manifold somewhere...haven't got this checked out yet
- gradual loss of coolant. (showing no other signs of BHG yet, though I don't think it's been blown yet.)
- starts rough cold with a high idle until it becomes warm
- it's recently been making a wierd tin sounding whine, friends have suggested throttle body problems. I haven't had this checked out yet either.
- obvious slowwwww oil leaks, but that's common. I don't lose enough to care about yet.

So yeah, I've been or am about to go through hell and back with this car. Hopefully at the end it will be worth it. I have also heard that a crack in the throttle body could be a reason for loss of coolant and the reason I'm hearing a weird noise while it's cold.

29 here in georgia, drove my turbo supra for about 3 weeks (targa top off) after installing the JDM motor only to find out that it had a blown head gasket.currently doing the mls headgasket and arp studs. those 3 weeks where the happiest 3 weeks of my life and fell in love with it.

I am 46 (f) and refuse to grow up ! I have owned an 89T, 89NA, 91NA and now proudly own a 91T with level 4 mods completed. I wouldn't drive anything other than a MKIII Supra.

I'm 37. Been a toyota fan for 20 years. I rebuild 22R(E)'s for fun, both 2WD and 4WD trucks. My 4x4 is an '85 4Runner, with lots of home built mods. Just picked up an 88 Turbo, Targa, Auto. Gotta be auto and seat 4 for Wife's request. She can't drive the 4Runner, let alone even get in the damn thing.

I'm 19, I just bought my first Supra a week ago and I'm getting the HG fixed. Before the Supra I owned an 85 Pontiac Fiero and a 93 Honda Civic, wich got wrecked by a deer. My Supra is an 87 pearl white 5spd targa top with a turbo.
