I am planning to do a manual conversion on my 1987 supra. I was sitting in class today and i rembered seeing wiers coming out of the clucth master cylinder hole. I didnt think much of it at first but i was thinking and was like wtf thats were the clucth goes. So if you have auto supra owners do you have a set of wires going through the hole in the fire wall. And to all the manual supra owners were do these wire go through? If you guys could hook me up with some pics that would be awesome. Thanks.

here in nz we dont have anything that goes thru the clutch hole, it has a rubber bung in it

you'll just have to try and follow the wires and see where they go

lol

Maybe you got a jerry rigged supra like mine just follow them back and see where they go

idk i looked a second time and i think its tied into the alarm system.

well i guess if you can't see a plug anywhere you're gonna have to find a new hole in the firewall or make one and cut the wires and rejoin them, if i was you i would buy a plug kit from your auto store, that way in future you just need to unplug it

ill look more into and maybe ill just pull the alarm system because it doesnt work anyway.

it turns out that it was the alarm system and it was kinda easy to pull out. I have a question though. What do you do with cut wires? I just taped the end up with electrical tape and put in a safe spot with zip ties. Is that a good way to do it??

tuck em away tape them and make sure they are not touching anything or eachother\

they should not be a problem
