hey guys, i really want a twin turbo mk 3, either the 1GGTE or 1JZGTE, but how rare are they?
and how much am i looking to pay, for a manual and preferably a targa top.

i have one i'm thinkin of sellin. 86.5 supra with 1jzgte conversion last year. aero top, 6 week old 17" razor rims. 235 45 17''S all round. limo tint koni suspension. from engine to diff replaced last year. 13.93 quarter mile. basically stock apart from 3" exhaust from turbo back and running 13psi boost. been well looked after. only thing that lets it down is the fact that its an 86.5 supra. i'd want to atleast get $10000 for mine. To buy a 90-92 type r 2.5tt supra around perth in good nick you are lookin for around $12000-$13000.

Personally, I'd take a look to see if you could find compatiable parts for the 1J and try to do a conversion. If you could find all the compatiable parts (water pump etc.) a swap would be a great idea, and ebay has em cheap.

:D YOU CAN GET THE 1GGTE OR 1JZGTE OUT FROM ebay SOMETIME THEY HAVE THE WHOLE COMPLETE SETUP...INCLUDING THE ENGINE, ECU, AND THE TRAINNY....ECT...YOU SURE CHECK IT OUT....CAUSE SOME OF THEM WERE LOW MILE THO....BUT THE PRICE GONNA BE HIGHT :o THO....DONT FREAK OUT WHEN YOU SEE ONE.....HEHEEH.... :lol:

SOMETIME SOME PEOPLE HAVE BID START AT $1,500 AND WENT UP TO $5,000...WELL SEE IF THIS WHAT HOW MUCH YOU GONNA SPEND FOR SWAP ENGINE OR REPLACE YOUR ENGINE OR ECT.....
