Hey guys, my crank case oil pressure is way too high. i keep blowin the dipstick out of the block and there is oil trying to escape from anywhere it possibally can. is there a valve or a bypass that could be bad?

I have never heard of this before, But you might have to take your whole motor apart, Or it might just be something as simple as the oil filter. Start with the simple things first. Just try getting an oil change too. Maybe there is some dirt in your oil? who knows. Try oil change/filter and see what happens.

Wink Can't sleep, so here you go

The dipstick blows out because you have too much crankcase pressure, (not to be confused with oil pressure). This pressure comes from the combustion process, you know, when the gas ignites. Some of the gasses ALWAYS leak past the piston rings into the crankcase. This is called 'blowby'.

You have too much blowby. It may be time for an engine rebuild.
The holes on the rear of each valve cover (about this size of your finger) that have a hose on them that 'Y's into the pipe on the throttlebody is what helps 'relieve' that pressure.

Those hoses may be plugged, and/or the passage into the throttlebody may also be plugged.

The pressure MUST be vented out.

Carb spray, coat hanger, drill bit, bottle brush, etc. You figure it out as you go.

Default try this

Try this first. Disconnect the battery cable from the negative post, and wait 10 minutes. Then hook it back up, and start the engine. It will run funky for awhile. You need to go drive it around town some, and out on an open road.

It can take a few times, but be sure to pull over (preferably at home) and shut off the engine for a minute.

The computer will re-learn the drive pattern.

This has fixed many cars. If it is still giving you troubles after a few days, then check for codes. and report back into this thread.

While an ECU reset will cure some problems, it's not the answer to all.

Are you rerouting your bov back to the intake?

Well if its leaking that much combustion gas into the crankcase...You definatley need some new rings (rebuild your motor). I would say dont drive it like that, Or your gona score the cylinders, Which means you will have to get it bored over.
