On my 89 n/t its the one towards the firewall. My connector is brown though. Also I thought the knock sensor code was 52????

Just try to do it by feel. Get the socket, an extension or 2, And put it in there. It shouldnt be too hard. You could also try from under the car, Or use a mirror to see it.

On the N/A in america it is on the passenger side and all you have to remove is the Air Intake preheater hose and you can reach it just fine...i dont know about the turbod version though.

The turbos actually have 2 knock sensors. The one in the picture is the easier one to get to. There is another one that is closer to the firewall and closer toward the ground and that one is a beast to get out and fixed.
