Super Newbie Question About Air Filters

I bought a K&N filter for my Supra (1989 with turbo). Is the turbo the only location of the air filter? Or does the engine have two? One for the actual engine, and one for the turbo?

Time for you to start learning about your car.

Also, google for turbo operations, and just about any other lengthy info you will need to know about cars.

That site doesn't work. But thank you anyways.

no there is only one place for the air filter because if there were two there would be no reason to have a turbo.

By the way, I just heard FORD said NOT to use the K&N filter, or any other ones that require oil on them. It causes MAF failures duen to oil contamination.

It will void the warranty.?
