Please Help!

Hello all, I want to say greetings as this is my first post. I am hoping you guys can help me, and if not at least relate and help me vent. Before I start; my car is a 1990 MK3 turbo model, white exterior with the maroon interior. Automatic transmission.

The problem: Over the past 2 months every few days my car will make a weird moaning sound when I turn the wheel. Naturally when I checked the power steering fluid it was low. But today I filled it up, and half an hour later it was moaning louder than I have ever heard it and when I checked the fluid under the cap it wasn't anywhere close to empty. Is this a faulty pump, faulty steering rack, blown hoses maybe? The noise is VERY loud and it's definately steering related because it only makes the noise when the steering wheel is turned.

The venting: I have been having problem after problem with this car so far. I found out the transmission is screwed; just replaced the aging brakes with brand new racing drilled slotted rotors, performance pads, and new calipers; bought brand new high performance twin tube gas shocks; bought all new rubber...as all this stuff was failing when I bought it. Oh can't forget the brake light problem I had that ended up being a control unit AND faulty wiring costing me $400. The transmission is going to cost me about 2800$ after labor and taxes. I'm really hoping this isn't another 1000$ job. Has anyone else had similar problems?

I havent yet but I have only started embarking on the supra trip. But I already have well over a grand into mine. Thats with me doing all the work.

Yeah it's pricey. I have put in 700 for brakes, 800 for suspension so far, 350 for the wiring problem, 360 for new tires balanced and aligned, 100 for turbo timer, 2800 on the trans when i get it done which is soon, and I found out today my problem was the steering rack and I'm looking at another 900. I'm pretty pissed, but after my last few problems are worked out I'll have a flawless dream car :]
The head gasket was replaced about a year ago from what the last owner was saying providing I trust what he tells me. Plus it shows no signs of BHG...it does get a little hot and use up some rad fluid from time to time but the rad and oil are completely their own with no mix or milk or bubbles.

Supra's are very very very high maintenance cars from what I have gathered. There's a reason they retailed for 55 grand in 1990. They're the step down from a Lexus luxury wise, and they go like shit. They are capable of over 1000 horse easily with the right after market parts. It's funny just the other day I met a guy with a supra like mine, with the t70 in it. He told me he paid 3 grand for and he installed it himself! HA! there's complete kits on ebay with intercoolers and blow off valves and the whole 9 yards for 800$! Oh well, some people are just blind sometimes.

I shit you not right after I posted that I went and got in my car and my power steering pump squeeled but I just needed more fluid but how ironic was that lol.
