Oil Pressure...Mechanical or Electrical???

What kind of Oil Pressure guages does everyone use? Mechanical or Electrical? I'm leaning more towards the electrical just because I don't want to worry about a leak in the cabin. Also where is the best place to mount the sender unit? Will it fit in the stock senders location? Or would it be better to make a tap and drill out a new hole in the block? Thanks

Electric. You don't want 200*+ oil hitting you in the face do you?

You may find this site useful http://hp.autometer.com/homepage/homepage.html

they have PDF files for fitting instructions as well, before you ask mine are air/fuel and vac/boost.

what is the oil pressure supposed to be at while your driving?

40ish or below is normal. Below 20 and your bearings are going bad and more than that and many things could be wrong, Like a blockage or something. It should stay around 40 or below tho.
