I have another post about my motor and that it is not as fast as before well I put a different turbo and I know its not the turbo thats the problem its the motor but I was wondering if you ain't getting the right spark can that be a big difference I had old wires so I changed them it made a little difference but I still am loosing power and my car like while idling will like skip a little I am thinking a misfire so spark somwhere my friend said get a new coil pack and change my plugs the plugs were brand new but I think the wires messed them up can anyone help me. paid 3000 dollars and my car is a sled.

I hate to break the news, but it sounds like your car has a case of the Blown Headgasktes's. It is a common problem for these cars. Hence the reason the 93 + Supras have a metal headgasket. well first thing i would do is check your ignition timing... make sure it's at 10 degrees with t & e1 shorted in the diagnostic box
next thing i would do is check all your vacuum pipes and intercooler pipes... make sure you don't have a leak... this can contribute severly to underpower what boost are you making? i wouldn't panic bout the bhg just yet.... do the other checks first :) most likely cuprits = turbo to intercooler pipe coming straight off the turbo lmk how you get on |
suprra girl nailed it on the head...if anything for the least, i'd check the compression on all the cylinders....just in case...
