Hello.
Well, I got myself a 1987 Toyota Supra Turbo. The progress on it is that the parts are being cleaned. The head is taking the most time and I found a crack in the head gasket so I need to replace that for around 60 dollars. Also, I am cleaning things with steel wool so if anyone wanted to know how to get things real clean, that’s what you need. If anyone wants any picture, let me know and I will post them. The whole car needs restored really so we'll see where the look of it goes. I am keeping the original motor though. Just a question but does anyone know how to improve how easy it is to turn the wheel? I put some transmission fluid in the area (which is what you are supposed to use) and it helped a bit but it still feels like it needs two hands to steer with. Thank you. *Edit* I think I posted this in the wrong section so please move it if it is. Sorry about this one. Last edited by Ediseye; 07-28-2006 at 03:01 AM. |
