to make the tach work, you have to pull out the cluster and take out the tach gauge, behind the tach is a small little box with resistors on them. On mkiiitech they explain which resistors have to be cut out and the ohm value to replace them with, I soldered my on. And for the driveshaft, I stuck with the na 5-speed so I left the drive terrain alone and so far it's worked fine. My na came with lsd when i got it.

I f you plan on running 400hp you have to go with the r-154 tranny. The engine cost me 1,000 dollars. when i got my engine it came with a cut wiring harness, turbo, accordian hose, fan and intake manifold including the throttle body. jdm throttle body's are different in that no linkage is involved, instead your cable goes straight on the throttle body but you got to make some kind of bracket to hold the cable. Also very very important, when you get the jdm engine, change out the oil pressure sensor. Japan does not read psi, it's something else. I left my on and when I turned the key on engine off, my oil gauge rose up all the way up and then it came down. what it did was it broke my oil gauge. And for the na tranny w-58, no mod was made, the 7mgte will perfectlly mate the na tranny problem free. The length of time it took me to do the swap was about 3 month because I bought most of my stuff on ebay.
