1991 Electrical Problem
 

I just bought a 1991 Turbo. I changed out the fluids,spark plugs,fuel filter, and gas. The car was sitting up for over a 6 months. The car started fine. Now my head lights, radio, and interior lights do not work. I checked the fuses and they seem ok. Now the car will not start, but cranks fine. Also in about two days the battery is drained. I know I have a short circuit. Where do I start?

Factory alarm
 

I think the factory alarm is my problem. I tried resetting (drivers side door) but did not work. How do I disable the factory alarm easily

Best way I have found is to simply remove the alarm module. Its up along side the steering shaft up under the drivers side of the dash.

Do I just remove it? Do I have to ground anything?

I just removed mine.

I removed a black box under my dash (reads Theft Warning Toyota). Is this the right box? My car will not crank, but stereo, interior lights work. I think the starter is still not getting a signal. Please advise.
