I bought a carrier bearing, but it was for the MK11 or similar, none for the MK111. Just the rubber part seems to wear out mostly so I just took my old one apart along with the new one and swapped the pieces. Still not the perfect solution, but it helped. It is too bad that one of the most worn out parts on the car is that part and no one makes a replacement for it. Unless of course you are willing to buy a one piece shaft for 2 or 3 hundred and do away with the carrier bearing for good.Russ
