Default 89 supra turbo

Ok theres a 89 supra ive been dieing to get but have to wait until monday so they can change the airflow sensor chip, that car has 152k on it and a mint body. The lot wants $5,900 for her and i dont know if this is a very fair price for a 89 although my buddy with a 97 talon tsi agrees to the price ... moral is this... was woundering if you can tell me the most common things to go on a car like this and if its a very exspensive car to mantain not insurance wise because my quote was only 1200/yr, but just in general, thanks for the help

That is a lot of $$$ in my opinion for a car with that many miles on it...

To answer your other question, the head gaskets seems to be a weak link in the stock motors because of low torque on the head bolts from the factory imo.

I had my stock turbo compressor wheel upgraded to a larger compressor wheel so I do not know about that turbo..

I used the stock bolts with no worries but I am .

Lots of people go with the ARP stud/bolt kits for higher boost..
