How rare is 92 supra
 

I'm new to the site and I'm a new supra owner.I recently purchased a 92 supra turbo.It has tems,sport roof and sport package and 10 speaker cd.I was just wondering if anyone had any info on how many of these cars were produced or if anyone has any other info to share.Thanks

I think what you have right now is very, very rare. If I may ask, how much did you pay for it, and what condition is it in?

where are you located in ohio?

I only paid 1,500 for the car which I found at a salvage yard.It had very slight fender damage and the trunk lid was dented in from a hit and run.These were easy fixes thankfully.The car has high miles but runs like a dream and everthing in the car still works.

Try doing some google searching. One time I ran into a site that had all the info on supras. How many were sold each year, and in which countries, too.

I do remember one figure (I was a salesman at Toyota Aug & Sept 1998), and the LastTturbo MK4 was $43500. Only 900 sold worldwide, according to that article. the one we had sat there for nearly a year.

^^^ That's a lot of info there, bookmark it for sure. So that says about 1200 sold in USA in 1998. Sad.

For the times, it was a lot of car that most people didn't realize was so well built. The 'yuppies' with that kind of $$ wanted BMW, Porsch, Audi, Saab, Corvette, IROQ Z28, etc.

The rest wanted Dodge Club and Quad cab trucks.

Totota's seemed over priced, because people didn't understand.
