Major issues...PLEASE HELP THE NEWBIE

ok so about 2 days ago my 86.5 mk3 N/A was running perfect however just suddenly all hell broke loose. First off the smell of antifreeze and gas is overwhelming which makes me think of a fuel problem obviously but it doesnt end there...when i start it is sounds like it wants to quit then it roars up to regular idle...which by the way was high until this problem started now its around 700-900rpm right around where it is supposed to be...also it has no kick anymore...acceleration is very tough for a car that once was ahead of everybody when i got it...and whenever i get to about 55-60mph and/or 3500-4000rpm the whole car shakes violently...the oil pressure gauge is showing lower than it was before...but still in normal range...and when i im in 2nd and left off the gas, in stead of a hard drag it coast as if it were automatic...please help asap

Im having this problem as well what exactly did you do to fix it. My Supra is a 87 Turbo though but it sounds pretty close to what is going on. How did you find and fix it? Thanks for any help. Ryan

one of his leads were arcing off
replacement would solve the issue
depending on where it's arcing off you may hear it or at night you may even see it but the car would normally idle fairly ruff or break up on acceleration if you have a lead down

I got it fixed. Turned out it was a shorted wire the runs from the front knock sensor to the ecu. I replaced it and now it runs perfect.
