Your current thoughts seem to be quite good. The k&n are possibly the best filters and the greddy BOV is very well known also. Go with them.

I'd get the car running flawlessly first. And then i'd go with an apex-i filter. And upgrade the exhaust and then buy an aftermarker boost gauge, the stock boost gauge is ridiculously slow. But thats just me.

Get the car back to mint stock, then start getting crazy. When you do, get the K&N FPIK system or go to supra sport and get the LIPP 3" intake adapter. Then throw out whatever filter they give you, and go buy an AEM Dryflow airfilter. Superior in everyway to a K&N and it won't damamge your MAF sensor which costs about 300 bucks.

Edit: for blow off valves the greddy's are good, the type S sounds fun. The HKS SSQV is what I have because you can use it under ay boost pressure and it adjusts its self. The Greddy needs to be fine tuned like almost every other non SSQV

I agree, Maintainance and education before mods.. :)

The K&N filters flow well but do not trap a lot of dirt for the same reason, If you live in a dusty/dry area, there are better filters.

Buy a BOV that vents good, not one that makes loud noise. Function over form.. It is not so big of a deal on stock turbo untill you upgrade..IMO
