broken fans

hello fellow supra lovers

my problem - the lower small fan on my radiator decided to come off due to crappy crafstmanship and the the large engine fan got jammed in the plastic guard and broke one of the tips off

so i took out the cracked up guard(im not sure waht its really called) and disconnected/removed the thing with the 2 small fans

im wondering if it would be fine to drive with just the one small fan and the big one

obviously you can tell i dont know much about cars..

but i love my supra as if it were my child

any help/tips is greatly appreciated!

Mr. Toyota designed it with three fans for a reason....

i would replace the belt driven fan with an electric one and gain the 8-10 hp . you can tap into the electric wires left over by the small fan

the small ones are for an extra boost when the ac is running
i have pictures on my website under modifications

fan setup costs around 100$ an easy 10 hp is priceless right ?
the plastic shroud costs around 150 i think

you need some kind of fans for sure

these look nice http://www.suprastore.com/elfankittwin.html but they are a bit too pricy..

i wonder where in town i could find something similar..?

I've been running with electric for 3 years here in the desert. Check this out. http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...0117&langId=-1

14" fan fits easy. 1800CFM is plenty of air movement. Get an automatic temp relay kit, and ad a manual over-ride switch at one of the 'coin' holder slots.
