After sitting for a period of of 13 months, I finally got the engine to run. I replaced everything from ecu and new wirness to match. However, the tailpipe (3inch'' straightback welded from downpipe to exhaust) was constantly smoking white smoke from the exhaust (think of a burnout), as well as a little bit of smoke from the turbo (with no cover). I've heard that if left sitting for a long time, the gas tank will eventually develop water in the tank and when combusted will emit white colored smoke. Has new radiator fluid as well. Should I assume I have a BHG? The new motor is an 89GTE from japan with no emissions and aprox. 38k miles on engine. So it should NOT have a BHG. Anyone have these kind of symptoms? Any ideas? Thanks.

If its not a BHG, the turbo seals went bad.

Check under the radiator cap after a bit of driving, look for the white goo. Does the vapor go away with time? White smoke = Water evapoarting, Blueish gray means oil burning.
