Hey Kelly - nice to finally meet another person from the London area :D

My name is Kai, and I own an 1988 N/A model. Stainless Steel Strut Brace, K&N 57i Induction Kit and not a single mod other than those....yet ;)

If you need help with locating Supra Parts and the like in the UK - i've built up a fairly extensive collection of telephone numbers, websites, breakers yards and stuff - gimme a shout if you need anything :)

What are the little plugs just infront of the headlights... never seen those before...

KNYFE 04-20-2006 08:21 PM

Those are the headlight cleaner nozzles. I have never seen a mkIII without.

ddmcse 04-20-2006 08:55 PM

Been looking for more MK3's on ebay today - at least 3 turbo's, all manual, going for less than ?800!! :eek2: :eek3:

Troyota 04-20-2006 10:31 PM

headlight sprayers

My 87 N/A doesn't have them. THANK GOD!!! I think that American N/A's only had them if they were Sport Package models.

FullOfProblemsMKIII 04-20-2006 10:54 PM

Whats wrong with washer jets??

Troyota 04-21-2006 12:35 AM

I personally think that they are ugly and throw off the lines of the car. No offense...if we all liked the same thing, life would be boring. I'm just personally glad mine didn't come w/ them. That, and they are not too functional here in the New Mexico dessert. :)

BTW dweasel...I like the car. White package. I hear it's kinda rare. I've only seen one in person. White paint w/ white trim and white wheels. ;)

suprra_girl 04-21-2006 08:35 AM

welcome to the forum Kelly ;)

They are washer jets, just like the ones for the windscreen, but they're for the lights.

Burn N' Up 04-22-2006 07:10 PM

My 89 Turbo Black out Tan In doesn't have them.. and yes, thank god, does look a little tacky but hey, maybe you can turn them around and hose pedestrians? heheh
