jdm or not

ok im haveing problems with wire and harnes i am stuck at this point. i bought an jdm motor off jspecmotorsports.com and they ripped me off bad. they say that if i was to get the jdm motor from them it would com with all harness and ecu. so that i just have to swap it in myself. but f**kn crap they cut all wire and motor got smashed around when being sent to me. so i replace oil pan and had to get new fan and intake manifold is all fucked up call to complain but those fuck-shit never pick up also emial but fuck-shit never answer back. bought the motor for 1000 plus ship 200 yea thats shit.

i got some tips from some other guys here about the plug coloers gray to gray green to green all the way to ecu is that right??? the problem is, its so call a jdm motor i dont know if the harness from my 89 going to fit or not? because i was looking at it some parts was set diff and some plugs it don't have them on the jdm motor???? confuse!!!!! one more question how can u tell if its a jdm or not????? any one know what to do from here on???

HAD the same problem

i bought a 7mge from enginelandinc.com got here and was messed up bad oil pan dented distributor busted along wiht throttle body, wireing harness just cut..so i got them out switched all the parts from my old engine liek the throttle body motor mounts and so on. as for the wiring harness i used my one of my 87 some of the plug in were diff. like the ones for the fuel injectors, those i just used my old injectors. the one of hte distributor was different. and you must use your old distributor u can't just splice the wires it'll start but not run.(be very careful with the changing of the distributor you can bend valves if put in wrong) and also i spliced the wire to the sensor on the block that is down by the oil filter. you can make it work if you have spare parts and lots of lots of time. good luck let us know how it goes.
