A Warning Light Came On Today
 

i've the car less than two weeks and my first warning light came on this morning while driving to school. There was no manual that came with the car when i bought it, the original owner lost it and she told me that when i bought it from her. Can anyone tell me what the light on the left side of the dashboard is. Its the one next to the engine temp gauge.

Typically the one next to the temperature gauge is the 'low coolant' indicator. Make sure your reservoir is topped off and your radiator full when the car is cool. If you're having to keep adding coolant, then you have an issue.

If its the one that looks like a greek parthenon, Thats it. Thats usually referred to as the bad head gasket light, so you may have one. Unless you have a small leak from one of the hoses. there are quite a few hoses so check those first.
