[FONT=Imp[COLOR=orange] hey im new to this sight but i was wondering if anyone could help me i have an 86.5 supra that i have built from the ground up i put an 89 turbo motor in it i cant get the car to start yet but thats not the problem when i tried to start it i cranked it for like 15 minuts and all of a sudden oil started pouring out the exaust side of the turbo i read the manual and it said something about it not getting any water will cause the oil lines to not be able to drain back down to the oil pan i didn't put water in yet i didn't think that i would need it just to see if the car would crank im not sure what to do please help :o

water is actually not required to lube anything in the engine or make the engine do certain things....
water is only required once the engine reaches a certain temperature so that it "stays" at that temperature

so you can safely run an engine for a min or so with no water and it wont generally have ill effect

do you know if the oil was actually coming out of the motor or out of the exhaust of the turbo?
take off the turbo and see if there is oil in the exhaust manifold... if there is i would say your rings are gone... if there is no oil before the turbo but is after get your turbo rebuilt and you should be happy

why won't your car start?

WELL I FIXED THE OIL PROBLEM THE GASKETS FOR THE OIL RETURN LINE DID NOT HAVE THE HOLE CUT IN TO IT SO THAT THE OIL COULD RETURN TO THE OIL PAN
