rims?
I currently own an mkiii supra 1990 white 7mge and was wondering if 18 by 7 inch rims are going to fit my car right and are they going to rub
how much do the original rims weigh will i loose horsepower is it going to lower my car any more than it already is (car is not lowered) another ? is where can i purchase a front lip preferably carbon fiber PLease no bullshit i need suggestions with knowledge behind them |
18x7?? thats too narrow imo. If you are going to upgrade, upgrade... I have 18x9 in front and 18x10 in the rear. No rubbing in the rear, I rubbed the plastic fender liner in the front once. 18x7 with 40 series tires with a stock offset of 37mm (iirc) will fit fine. That is too narrow a wheel imo.
You are adding unsprung wieght with heavier wheels, but I doubt you will notice any acceleration differences. No you don't loose hp. |
thank you very much for the help wheres a site i can find rims
love the car love love love the car what modifications do u have |
check tire rack, or your local tire dealer. Most local places can order anything you want. You just need to find something you like. Most people run 18x8.5 up front and 18x9.5 in the rear. TSW has some nice styles for supras and they are decently priced. Check out the thruxton and the kalamari(sp?)
Too many mods to list. 4" exhaust, rebuilding motor, AEM standalone, GT4067R turbo. Coilovers, bars etc... Hope to be complete soon. |

What color is your car? If your car is white, silver or black they'd look great!
18x8.5, and 18x9.5 with 35mm offsets That what guy has on another forum. Looks good too! |
white and I'm tinting windows
|
That would look good. Im painting my car black with Motegi Touge rims. 18x9 in the front and 18x10s in the back.
