Few problems i need help with!!

First of all....I need a few parts that i cant find anywhere. I have a broek speedo, dont know why, My rear suspension has play in it due to a loose ball joint so i dont even drive the car anymore for fear of damaging other parts, my temperature gauge doesnt work, dont know why, and i need to know if parts from an 88 or 87 supra (all listed things) will fit on my 86. because i can get parts off an 88 junkyard-er for free. And if anyone can tell me what, if anything, changed between those years. Also if front wheel bearings from an 88 would fit.

Check the speedo cable. Check the connections on the temp housing. Most, if not all the parts from 86-88 are interchangable.

I do really need a rear upper ball joint tho...does anyone think the dealer would be able to get them? Thats the only thing i cant seem to find

86.5-92 are pretty much all interchangeable....i swapped everything from my 89 to my 87....87 is only the first year that came out with turbo....so everything should swap....i'd say grab that whole car n use what u can......

my cousin owns a junkyard so i can get whatever i want for free, but i cant take a whole car. plus id have no where to put it really. My house is being sold soon :(. I dont like the idea of using a used ball end....but ill just get 2 or 3 in case one isnt good. Im getting all new brakes, shocks, and some inspection passing parts, (cat, 02 sensor) this weekend so i wana do it while i have the suspension half apart already anyway. Has anyone ever changed front wheel bearings or taken the rear suspension apart? I need to know what tools to buy/bring if amnyone knows. Thanks for the replies!
