One piece drive line...

I'm thinking of changing to a one piece driveline, and getting rid of the carrier bearing, so I'm curious if there are any con's. I've already got most of the pro's from the vendor :) Any advice??

Thanks

Can't think of any cons. Lighter and no carrier bearing or extra U-joints has to be a plus. Seems like all the serious fast guys go that way eventually. Get it, it is a major plus for the drive train.

I guess the only thing might be its strength. Really sticky tires and a lot of power like 500 hp or so, does the manufacturer state that it can handle that or more. I am sure it can, but you might ask, unless they already said that was no problem. If not, then I wish I could afford one, because I would definately get one.

I thought it sounded like a win/win situation but I wanted to double check. The manufacturer says it's good to 650hp

If its lighter you might loose an 1/8th of a gallon per mile, hehe.
