Vibration Problem
I Have A Vibration Problem With My Supra (mk3), Everytime I Hit 50 Miles Per Hour The Car Starts To Vibrate, The Vibration Is Coming From The Back Of The Car, Is Not From The Front (engine), Can Anyone Help Me To Solve The Problem.

Tires, alignment..
Those'd be the first thing I checked. Have the tires sat for a long period of time? How long has it been since you had a front/rear alignment? Do you drift the car? Tapped a curb? Things like that. |
If a bushing is bad, the play in it can cause vibrations. If it a steady one, at 50-60mph, and there are no signs of tire tread seperation, then out-of-balance tire can cause it.
If it just 'showed up', then tire tread seperation is a very strong posibility. Jack up the tire and place car in neutral, then rotate the tire by hand while looking closely for a 'high' spot in a section of the tread. Usually about the size of your hand. If oyu can't find the problem, put the back tires, one at a time, on the front. Test drive to see which tire it might be. Then do other tire. |
