Sounds like time to replace the engine. Did it put a hole in the block? Also, and we have had this discussion with others, it is very hard to read your message because of not having any punctuation. We don't need capital letters but periods help a lot when you are changing to a different item.

If it is rattling real loud and running on less than all 6 cylinders, then it is time for a tear down or let someone who knows engines listen to it. Blown engines are blown engines with the same consequences. Probably your oil was low and spun a bearing, then it seized and broke internally. Expensive and very time consuming unless you know where a good used engine is for a decent price.

Let us know how it goes.

??? im on ebay all the time and never have a seen a 7mgte go that low unless it was out of a parting out car or has 100k+ miles. the low mileage ones go for 800-1200. if you see any more of those 400-600 ones, send me a pm...

I was just looking on ebay a minute ago and I searched for 7mge in ebay motors and a few came up. One was for $499 and it said low mileage. They are the japan low mileage engines. You can also go to the wholesale importers and find one for $500. Those places have hundreds of 30-50K mile engines and tranny's. I live in Chico, Ca and there is a place here that sells 'em at $600. In the los angeles area is where you can get the real deals...

He means GTE dude, not GE. Yes, the non turbo engines go from like $200-600. Low mileage turbo engines go from $700-2000. Maybe less. You might get lucky. Although there is one on ebay right now for 850 shipped.
Here's the link.
