dude save your moneny, you dont need to spend over 500 bucks on exhaust. all you would have to buy is your header and tip or muffler. I just went to a local exhaust place and had him install my tip and get all new pipe. you get any size you want and the bends arent that bad. i got a complete custom stright pipe exhaust all new and installed for like 60 bucks. just make sure you get a small turbo muffler installed for some back preasure, n/a's need it for low end power. hope this helps, good luck.

I agree with the fact that the headers peeled but i haven't seen any rust and its been a while i mean your choice but i don't think its a big deal but i'd suggest if you get one thing, get everything pace setter because i think you get more out of it that way i think.

Well all I am saying is that there is really no protective coating on these headers. When the paint goes then it loses any protection from the elements. It also doesn't hold the heat inside the header and lets it radiate out. That is why I suggested the coating. I think they are good headers, but can be improved.

I agree with this, if possible go with piping that has mandrel bends. To the original poster of this topic, I know you did some searching, but you probably overlooked this thread. http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/...ead.php?t=3113 I'll just quote my post from it (topic on headers for 7M-GE).

(RPM x Motor Size)/554,177 = Recommended diameter.

(7,000 x 183.07)/554,177 = 2.31"

I have to disagree with this. NA's do not need back pressure, conversely though, going too big (on an NA) is also bad. The ideal piping size helps with exhaust velocity and efficiency, thereby increasing overall HP. Go too big and you lose that velocity. I recommend you use a universal "straight-through" muffler with at least a 2.5" inlet. Hope this helps.

i put pacesetter headers and a test pipe, and a borla blowtorch exhaust, 2.5 in,
cost me lik 800buks, but its worth it..
get ceramic coated headers, cuse i have the other ones and the get really really hot...

here they have a few videos of exhausts offered http://www.suprastore.com/exhaustsection.html
if you have a subwoofer hooked to your computer you can get a better idea of what they sound like
