mine dont work when i open the doors. i can turn them on with the buttons but they wont turn on with the door. maybe the door sensor/ button thing? dont know, doesnt really bother me too much.

I had to pull mine down (open it up) and solder the connection. The heat from use and age causes bad connections inside the assembly. It may LOOK good, but under the solder its not making good contact.
PS. It was a bitch to solder too. But...its been 3 years and they still work fine. And...the door switch is up there too, and it WAS malfunctioning too.

Also...use resin solder, NOT acid solder.
