Rebuilding it will give you better results and longer life, but as its allready been stated, it depends on where you get the parts, whos building it, money. I rebuilt and have full confidence in my engine as i've seen what went in it, and had access to very cheap parts and a great mechanic.

time is another factor. if you want it running as quick as possible then its a no brainer, go with a jdm engine. but if you want durability then rebuild. its all up to you. again money, time, experience

where is a good place to buy a rebuild kit from? i need bearings, all the gaskets, and new rings. also a rebuild kit for the head, just the oil seals and other not reusable stuff.
