They are 2 completely different engines, why would you even consider this?

Can you not determine the answer from my response? The simple answer is no. If you had an unlimited budget, then the answer is yes.

This is common practice with Honda engines. Although the engines have to be in the same family. For instance a B18A DOHC non-VTEC engines' head that came in LS and RS model Integra's is swapable with the B18C1 and B18C5 which are from the Integra GS-R and Type-R Integra's. A more potent and popular combination is using the B20 block from the CRV and putting a VTEC head on it.

generally you cannot place different family of engine parts together

the swap that you have probably heard of is putting the 1JZGTE head on the 2JZGTE block :)

no you cannot put a 7m head on a 2j block

i posted this last night then got a database error message

why would you ? the supra 7m can make oodles of power if you get it done up a bit. mine has harder valves with better angles and its been ported. no other mods.

its an auto turbo and it goes better now after the blown head gasket job ( got the head done when that happened ) than when i first got it. and it was working properly when i first got it. it smokes the tyres if you really tax the trans.
