Thermostat???

Ok, so I got some hoses replaced and a leaking gasket replaced today at my mechanics. And in order to get to this gasket, he had to take off the headers and my intake (acordian hose). Everything worked out perfect. But I noticed that when I was driving to my g/f's place, my temp gauge didn't even budge!!

Now, I know for a fact that the thermostat is working. It was working perfect when I was on my way to the shop this morning. And I dont think he even went near it. Is there something, like a plug that could not be in??

No matter how long I drive it, the temp says the engine is stone cold. I need some help on where to check and what to look for. It's scary not knowing the temp lol.

Make sure the harnesses are plugged back in their perspective sockets.

The temp sensor is a 1 wire, on the thremostat housing.
