i pulled my 7m and took me maybe a week but i only worked on it like 7 hours though and not to mention i didnt know what i was doing... actually pulling it out was the hardest part; didnt undo tranny at first, was pulling out the motor and chain slipped off, turbo cut into the wiring harness

and broke a motor mount, argh. so tried to take off the tranny couldnt do it, my pop and little bro worked on while i was at work and unbolted the flywheel or whatever is hooked up inside it. any ways its not hard when you got time and the info. hope your luck's better than mine

Pull the motor with the trans, peice of cake. Takes two people. One cranking and guiding the picker and another guideing the tranny through the tunnel. Make sure the car is on stands with the ass end as high up as is safe, this will help the motor and trans come out easier.
