Is it just at 60 mph that you notice this or is it the the same rpm range that you feel the vibration? It could be anything from the harmonic balancer on the front of the engine to the balancers in the engine to something happening to the clutch or input shaft bearing. Usually at 60 my car is pretty smooth, but I do feel the trans making a little vibration. As I rev the engine up the engine makes more vibration. Toyota put balancers in the engine to help stop that, but they had to lower the red line because of all that rotating mass. The 92 engine has those balancers.

What tires do you have on it? Its pretty common for tires to give those sort of problems. Cheap tires, retreads, remolds, flat spots, balancing, theres a heap of reasons tires can do this. The fact that you can put it in Neutral and doesnt affect the problem suggests that the tires are contributing to this problem. Or, somethings bent.lol

well after all that searching around for obvious things and not finding the problem you may have to take a serious look at the underbody of your car.something sounds outta place/broke.good luck

I cannot remember, does the 92 come with a carrier bearing on the driveshaft? if it does, check that. One problem though, on my 87, the only way to get a new carrier bearing is from the dealership. very pricey.
