It could also be that one of the screws wasn't tightened enough at the hinge and it wont disengage because of the hood release. So if you do get it open check that. And if it does it again you can adjust the position of the hood release so that maybe it wont do it. And again thats if bullzeyes answer doesnt work. Keep postin with any problems.
