I agree with everyones comments on black. It will show every imperfection, bodywave and dings are easily detectible. The body has to be immaculate if you want black. Especially that darkest black you want, Jet Black. If your doing this yourself, I'd highly recommend a different color.

What it the logic behind this? If your car has sat for a while and the paint has cured, or even better been baked, I don't see the point in letting environmental contaminants have a free go at your new paint for 6 months. I waxed mine one week out of the shop.

ive heard no wax for the first 2 months, just mild soap and water till the paint has had time to cure...

mmm...the dude i got my paint job from said no wax for about 2 months, but you can wash it gently with soap and water..but dont put the hose on full blast
