7m vs 1jz

Did your 1JZ come from a Soarer or from a Supra? All the ones I can find here came from Soarers, and I heard it doesn't fit as well as the one that came with the Supra, you have to make more "custom" stuff to put it in there.

my motor came from a supra...oh and joel...we alrdy know 7m's are nice cheap motors..just casue u can get 4 of those for only one 1jz...doesnt make u better than us...does it?

nah i know ur kidding...that seriousness that seems to come out is my sarcasm, hahaha its all fun and games until someone gets their eye poked out, thats what my kindergarten teacher told me once....all i remember was my 5th grade homeroom teacher was hot hahaha

Call me old fashioned but i like the simple to fix tolerant to tom-foolery 7m. Although the JZ series are the real power houses, i think the 7ms will be around forever. Just too reliable.

yeah i dont mean to piss any one off... ever.. if i do, let me know, ill try to be more friendly.. i kid around sometimes in good fun but i dont mean to offend anyone...

i think we can all agree the 1jz is a awsome motor, with more power potential than the 7m. but if your on a budget, think 7m.. if not go 1jz..

is it hard to get parts for the 1jz ? i mean are the parts on the shelf or are they all special order? like alt, starter, waterpump, gaskets, seals, type parts??
