Fuel cutoff

what is the correct safest way to get rid of fuel cut off Ive been reading and a fuel defender seems that its not to safe

its my understanding that unless your running an upgraded turbo, the stock ct-26 will not flow any more air than when its at 13psi, so going over 13 psi only creates heat, and will not flow any more air and over spins the turbo to its limits.. so yes going over the stock 14.5 fuel cut can be unsafe to the turbo for sure , trust me on this one, hahhaha i know from experience..i just rebuilt and upgraded mine.

that being said, if your still interested, and your turbo is larger than stock, get the hks fcd k3 type, i got mine on ebay for 99$ and works like a champ

reference the part number if you buy one.. needs to be the k3 one with rpm signal 4501-RM003

the more i read the more it looks like i will have to go get my air fuel checked. i read somewhere that supragirl said something about it. and to joel williams but as long as i am within the stock fuel cut off i should be safe? if i do get a bigger turbo the the part number k3 one with rpm signal 4501-RM003 will solve this? just want to make sure i think im reading your post right :) also where did you get the upgrade turbo i really want one:naughty: thanks

yes thats the correct part and that will fix your fuel cut issue, also yes it may be a good idea to have it checked however i havent had any problems with lack of fuel yet, but thats just going off the air/fuel mixture gauge i have installed, says im in the green under boost... (rich) so im not worried about it yet.

as for the turbo i sent it to performance techniques in cali, they had a sale on rebuilding and upgrading YOUR ct-26 for 450++$ if you mention the ad in the "supra forums" i had no idea about the sale and bluffed them like i knew what he was talking about. hahhaha Ya sure i read that!!! not,,, lol

anyways they did a very nice job on my turbo as far as i can tell.. they dont seem to answer emails, but i was able to talk on the phone every time to the tech with no bs.. sure looks purty and works awsome.. gotta send yours in, if its rebuildable and it took 2 weeks.
http://64.225.76.178/main.htm here is there link, with now i can run at 15 psi without overspinning my turbo and without creating heat. but with this turbo, 10 psi is like what 14 psi was before the upgrade... it rocks...:bouncy:
