How to disable or bypass MKIII Anti-Theft device?

Hello,

I have a 87' MKIII Supra Turbo and I didn't know it had an anti-theft device until I pulled it out of the garage, parked it in the driveway, and attempted to start it to pull it back in the garage. Unfortunately, the car won't start and the lights are blinking and horn on. I have the original key for the car. The hood latch is closed, same with the trunk. I am able to insert the key and lock/unlock the drivers door with the key, but unfortunately the passenger side door the key does not turn it. I have to manually lock or unlock the passenger side.

My question is, can I bypass or disable this alarm so that I can start the car and pull it back in the garage?

I did close all doors, and locked/unlocked the drivers side door a few times and the headlights went down and alarm stopped... but then... when I open the door the anti-theft device goes back on and I cannot do anything.

Any tips? Can I bypass this somehow? The starter won't engage with the anti-theft active and security light on

How to disable or bypass MKIII Anti-Theft device?

Hi, I have a 87' MKIII Supra Super and I didn't realize it had an enemy of burglary gadget until I hauled it out of the carport, stopped it in the carport, and endeavored to begin it to pull it back in the carport. Sadly, the vehicle won't begin and the lights are squinting and horn on. I have the first key for the vehicle. The hood lock is shut, same with the storage compartment. I'm ready to embed the key and lock/open the drivers entryway with the key, yet tragically the traveler side entryway the key doesn't turn it. I need to physically lock or open the traveler side. My inquiry is, could I at any point sidestep or debilitate this alert with the goal that I can begin the vehicle and pull it move in the carport? I did close all entryways, and locked/opened the drivers side entryway a couple of times and the headlights went down and caution halted... however at that point... at the point when I open the entryway the counter burglary gadget backpedals on and I can do nothing. Any tips? Might I at any point sidestep this in some way? The starter will not draw in with the counter robbery dynamic and security light is on.

Alarm sounds when opening the door.

This was one of the first things I had to fix on my '87 Supra 27 years ago. It involves taking out the lock cylinder. Underneath the electrical plastic wheather cover there is a quarter moon shaped piece of copper that becomes detached from the plastic rivet locating pin. In other words when you turn the key the copper quarter moon shaped piece doesn't move so the alarm is not disarmed. Repair by carefully doming over the protruding white plastic locating pin through the copper quarter moon shaped piece to retain it. There's not much of the soft plastic to work with so use something like the tip of something blunt slightly larger, but don't over do it or you will have to get another lock cylinder. Reassemble and it should work after that. If you need a description of how to get the door card off and lock cylinder, let me know.
