Safe mode 2200rpm rev cut
 

Hi guys n girls.
I am having a problem with my 1jz 86 supra.
It wont rev past 2200rpm. It is like it is hitting its rev limiter.
Once it hits 2200rpm, the engine will lose power and once it drops to around 1500rpm, it fires back up again but will die again as soon as it hits 2200rpm.
Has anyone had this same problem or a thought on the cause?

Just checked the ecu. Looks like blown capasitors..
