Question Tips for starting Mk3 after sitting for 10 years?

Hello all...I haven't touched my car in ten years but today is the day. She had a full tank of gas when parked in garage. So my plan was to siphon all the old fuel but I think it may have all evaporated. There was some dirt/residue around the filler and some (not much) on the siphon tube when I pulled it out. So I plan to:

1. Put fresh gas and and Seafoam in the tank.
2. Change the oil with fresh 10W30 weight
3. Prime the engine with fuel fuse out.
4. Put fuse back in, turn ignition, and pray.

Are there any other recommendations y'all might have before/after I fire her up? Thanks.

Hand cranking it over clockwise a turn or 2 in neutral would be advisable.

I would do a compression test also.
