craigslist supra roller
 

found a '89 supra on craigslist. no engine, no transmission. contacted the seller, theres really nothing under the hood. the frames in good shape and so is the interior and ive been looking for a project car. he says hell sell it to me for a couple hundred $. never had a project car, but i know a few guys who are willing to help me who know alot. so far i know i need to buy a floor jack, engine hoist, and torque wrench. can someone point me in the right direction for like step by step advice on a project like this? thinking of installing a 1JZGTE with R154. thanks

also a question: what would be the right term for a project like this? one with nothing under the hood? Ive heard roller and basket case used, but I need something thatll give me results on google for advice, because just searching "car nothing under hood no engine no transmission" doesnt give good results.

I'm no expert, but a project like that will cost a lot of money.
