What are your upgrades and why?
 

Hello everyone,

So I have an 87 turbo with the r154. This is my favorite care.. period. I want the best of everything on it. Eventually I want to do a JZ swap, and now I'm skeptical on whether or not I should do the 1J, 2J, or the 1.5J configuration. But, before I digress, what are the best aftermarket parts I can and should get for a MK3 - looking for suspension, intake, exhaust, hoses, fluid lines, steering linkage, cooling components (radiator & intercooler) - I just want to equip my car with sturdy parts. Also if anyone could explain the pros and cons to the 1J vs the 2J (and vice versa), and the purpose for the 1.5J (2J block with 1J heads).

My Apex GT exhaust is not too loud. I also replaced the stock paper filter with HKS panel. Then I bought Proxes 1. These Toyo tires are superb on dry and wet roads.
