89 none turbo motor in 91 body help!
 

Have a 89 motor none turbo into a 91 body turbo, need wiring harness help some match some don't

There may be some body chassis harness differences to deal with between a turbo an a non-turbo in addition to the engine harness. A non-turbo uses a single coil where a turbo car has a igniter on the wheel well and 3 coil packs. The exhaust down pipe will be different. It might be easier to find a turbo engine.

Do a google search for: 7MGTE engine for sale or any of the things you are looking for.

To go the non-turbo route, at bare minimum, you will need a 89 NA (7MGE) harness that comes from the computer under the glove box and a 89 NA (7MGE) computer to go with it. Make sure the computer matches the transmission you have, AT for automatic or MAN for manual. Mabie you can swap what you have, provided they are in good shape,to some one that has a 89 harness and computer. Then there is eBay or the parts yard. 91 and 92 are low production years for the Supra.
